Magne Borgund

ABOUT

Magne Borgund is the Chief Growth Officer at Utopus Insights. Borgund's 15-year career in the renewable industry is propelled by his rich hands-on experience as a cross-border trader across 25+ borders in Europe, establishing and running a 24/7 desk for operations, and optimization of Norwegian energy giant Statkraft's renewable portfolio in the United Kingdom.

Borgund has successfully channeled this deep understanding of the industry, combined with his collaborative, transparent approach, to drive a business understanding of why digital transformation is critical to future-proof renewable investments. Borgund joined Utopus Insights in 2019, as Vice President, Sales, in the EurAf (Europe & Africa) region. He has a CEMS Master's in International Management and Master of Science from the Norwegian School of Business Administration and the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. 

Prior to joining Utopus Insights, Borgund had spent 12 years with Statkraft, and another Norwegian renewable company, SN Power.
